Enter a unique name for your agent. This helps in identifying it easily, especially if you plan to create multiple agents.

  • Default Personality: Click this link to reset the personality to the default setting.
Creativity
  • Slider: Adjust the creativity level of the AI agent. Moving the slider to the right increases creativity, resulting in more varied and imaginative responses. Moving it to the left reduces creativity for more straightforward and factual answers.
  • Value: The current creativity level is displayed (e.g., 0.5).
Ignore Chat History
  • Checkbox: Enable this option if you want the AI agent to ignore previous chat history. This can be useful if you want the agent to treat each interaction independently without considering past conversations.
When to Use
  • Customized Interactions: To ensure the AI agent’s responses align with your brand’s tone or specific communication style.

  • Creative Responses: When you need the AI agent to generate more creative and engaging content.

  • Independent Queries: To handle each query independently, useful for one-off questions or varied user interactions.

Select the type of agent you want to create. This determines the agent’s primary function and capabilities. 

When a user clicks on “Agent Type,” they can choose from the following options:

Chat Agent

Designed for conversational interactions, ideal for customer support, virtual assistants, and any application requiring natural language dialogue.

Select this option if you want your agent to engage in human-like conversations, making it suitable for interactive dialogue applications.

Plan and React Agent

This agent type dynamically plans and executes tasks based on real-time inputs and conditions. 

Choose this for workflow automation, task management, and adaptive systems, where the agent needs to handle dynamic tasks and adapt to changes.

SQL Agent

Specialized in handling SQL queries, useful for database management, data retrieval, and performing operations directly on SQL databases. 

Opt for this if your agent needs to interact with SQL databases for data-related tasks. 

If no connectors are available, create one by clicking “Create Connector” to set up the necessary connections.

The “AI Model” section in the Agent Builder allows you to select or add a custom AI model for your agent. Here, you can choose from a variety of pre-configured models or create a new connection with a custom model.

When you click “AI Model,” you have the option to select one of these pre-configured models or add a custom model.

GPT-4o (Open AI)

GPT-4o is one of the advanced models available for creating custom agents. It leverages deep learning techniques to understand and generate human-like text. A utility-based agent, for example, evaluates different options based on their expected utility to choose the most advantageous action. This approach helps in decision-making by comparing states and guiding the agent’s performance. Use this for tasks needing detailed responses and sophisticated language comprehension.

GPT 3.5 (Open AI)

A robust model ideal for general tasks that don’t require the advanced features of GPT-4o. Opt for this model for standard queries and everyday interactions.

GPT 4o Mini (Open AI)

A lighter version of GPT-4o, offering good performance for less resource-intensive tasks. Choose this for scenarios where you need efficiency without compromising too much on capability.

Gemini Pro (Google AI)

A versatile model from Google AI, excellent for integration with Google’s ecosystem. Use this for tasks involving Google services or requiring broad, general-purpose AI functionality.

Mixtral 8x7b (Groq)

Designed for tasks requiring speed and performance optimization. Ideal for high-throughput applications where response time is critical.

Claude 3 Haiku (Anthropic)

Claude 3.5 Sonnet (Anthropic)

     Select the provider of your AI model from the dropdown list.
  • API URL
    Input the API URL of your custom AI model. This URL allows your agent to interact with the custom model.
  • API Key
    Enter the API key for your custom model. This key is essential for authentication and secure communication with the model.
  • Max Input Tokens
    Specify the maximum number of input tokens the model can handle. This defines the maximum size of the input text.
  • Max Response Tokens
    Specify the maximum number of response tokens the model can generate. This defines the maximum size of the generated response.

Click “Add” to establish the connection. This will allow your AI agent to utilize the custom model for generating responses.

“Knowledge Base”

  • Dimension Size: Indicates the size of the model’s embedding dimensions, e.g., “384”. Ensure the dimension size aligns with your data complexity requirements.
Chunking Strategy

Defines how the knowledge is broken down and processed:

  • Hybrid Semantic: A strategy combining semantic understanding with chunking for efficient knowledge retrieval. Use this for balanced performance in understanding and processing large datasets.
Settings
Strict Context

Ensures the AI checks its answers for validity against its own knowledge base, improving the relevance of responses while preventing unrelated information. Enable this to maintain high accuracy in the AI’s responses.

Translate Queries

Translates queries into the language of the knowledge base content to improve search quality. Enable this if your knowledge base contains content in multiple languages.
